Repeat sex offender Matthew Twyne remains behind bars following another arrest over the weekend.
The 36-year-old was picked up near a school in the centre of St. John’s for allegedly breaking conditions of his probation.
His criminal record includes more than 100 convictions, most for refusing to stay away from areas frequented by children, including playgrounds and schools.
Twyne is facing four fresh charges, all for breaching conditions of his release and a prohibition order.
A bail hearing that was set for Monday afternoon was postponed until Wednesday.
