A portion of the Trans-Labrador Highway will be closed for most of the day Friday to facilitate a culvert replacement.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure says the closure, approximately 70 km west of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, is necessary for the safety of everyone in the area.
The highway will close at 5 a.m., and the department expects the work to take about 12 hours, with the area reopening to traffic around 5 p.m.
