CT scans at Carbonear General Hospital are currently unavailable due to a water leak in an area of the Medical Imaging Department.
Inpatients and emergency department patients who are referred for CT scans will be temporarily transferred to a St. John’s health care facility. Arrangements are being made for outpatients to receive the service at a health care facility in Clarenville or St. John’s.
Eastern Health does not yet know when CT scans will again be available in Carbonear.
