A new affordable housing building is set to be built in Happy Valley-Goose Bay thanks to joint funding from the provincial and federal governments.
Just under $800,000, split equally between Newfoundland and Labrador and Ottawa, is going towards building a four-unit housing building on Mesher Street.
The complex will feature two fully accessible, one-bedroom units on the main level, and two one-bedroom units on the second level.
The project is set to be completed by Churchill Construction Ltd. in February 2023.
