Two Indigenous artists from this province will be going on a unique expedition to the wreckage site of the Titanic.
The 2022 Titanic Survey Expedition will bring two Indigenous artists on a unique artist-in-residence program that will see each finalist go on an eight-day visit to the site.
Nelson White, a Mi’Kmaw painter from Flat Bay, and Alex Antle,a Mi’Kmaw visual artist from Grand Falls-Windsor, have been named as the finalists.
The expedition is set to launch in June.
