The first oil tanker of the season is expected to arrive in Labrador today.

According to the Woodward Group, the tanker will be escorted into the port of Goose Bay. They note, however, that the vessel only contains jet fuel—diesel and gas aren’t expected to arrive until early June.

The price of both diesel and gas has skyrocketed since the last major shipment to the coast of Labrador.
