The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor is running events today to get people involved in the aquaculture industry.
The town, along with the Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association, is holding a career fair and business partnership and opportunities session.
The career fair, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium, will let the public meet employers in the industry and find possible employment opportunities.
The business partnership and opportunities session will see NAIA, Greig Seafoods and Cooke Aquaculture present opportunities to be a part of the salmon aquaculture supply chain to small businesses. That takes place at 1:30 p.m.
