An 18-year-old man from Harbour Grace is under investigation for driving while under the influence of cannabis.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, police noticed a car without its headlights speeding on Water Street in the town. The driver tested positive for cannabis on roadside screening equipment and was arrested.
A blood sample was collected from the man, and police are awaiting the results to determine if they will lay impaired driving charges.
