Many people will be hitting the highways this weekend for the May 24, and RCMP will be out in force.
They say checkpoints will be set up at numerous locations throughout the province, and they will be teaming up with the RNC in areas on the Avalon and the west coast.
They will be checking for impaired, distracted, and dangerous driving, as well as speeding and other traffic violations.
The enforcement coincides with Canada Road Safety Week, and National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day tomorrow.
