Yet another couple in this province has won Set for Life.
Karen Patey and Terrance Simms of Raleigh are the latest winners, opting to take the lump sum payment of $675,000.
Patey and Simms were high school sweethearts who went their separate ways, only to be reunited more than 30 years later.
Patey calls the money “the gold at the end of the rainbow” for them.
The couple plans to use the money to give their three teenage kids a good education, and help out their two other children. The couple is also planning on purchasing the home they’re renting and setting themselves up for retirement.
They’re the second couple from the province to win Set for Life in the last month, with Marcie and Paul Bromley from Long Island bringing home the prize as well.
