The family of a man in intensive care is looking to track down his stolen record collection.
According to a social media post from the man’s daughter, while Gary Miller was battling a severe lung infection in the ICU, someone took and sold hundreds of records from his decades-old vinyl collection.
The police have been notified and the family is looking for any pieces of Miller’s collection they can find.
They are asking anyone who purchased any vinyl records on May 15 or May 16 on Lemarchant Road to reach out to them.
They have been able to track down a couple of buyers, with one returning the records with no cost to the family, while another, who purchased around 500 albums, is looking to recoup what they spent.
An online fundraiser has been created to offset the cost of getting back and replenishing Miller’s collection.
