Canada’s Ocean Supercluster has a new program designed to provide work placement opportunities to Indigenous people looking to get involved in the country’s ocean economy.
The Indigenous Career Pivot Program will provide Indigenous people with 12-month employment placements with the goal of helping them pivot careers to the ocean economy.
The program, worth over one million dollars, offers learning and support opportunities for participants and employers, including a Peer Support Network and cultural awareness training.
