The Town of Bauline is launching an initiative aimed at helping the local bee population. It’s creating the Bauline Bee Garden.
The area, which is described as a “pollinator playground,” will be located next to the retired community centre and will be constructed out of recycled materials.
In preparation, the town is asking residents for donations of unwanted paint or stain to the centre, which will be used to beautify the garden boxes. As well, the town says it will soon be looking for donations of flowers.
