It was only a couple of weeks ago that government spent about $80,000 cleaning up the Outer Ring Road of garbage left mostly from vehicles on their way to Robin Hood Bay.
The RNC cracked down on unsecured loads on Saturday, and handed out 30 tickets for such infractions.
One of the items they found was an unsecured rotary saw blade, something which could do a lot of damage to a passing vehicle and seriously harm a person.
Traffic Services conducted a traffic checkpoint in the Robin Hood Bay area of #YYT today. Just one of the items found to be included in an unsecured load: a saw blade. Over 30 tickets issued today for unsecured load, just off our recently cleaned highway. #nltraffic #CRSW2022 pic.twitter.com/TI04xXdC98
