Results of the 2022-23 big game licence draw are now available online.
The quota for this year was set at 27,665 moose licences on the island, including 17,850 either sex, 9,360 male-only and 455 either-sex for not-for-profits.
There are 345 either-sex moose licences in Labrador.
Most Moose Management Areas on the island will be open for the season on September 10 and close on December 31. The season opens in Labrador on September 10 and closes on March 12, 2023.
Big game licence fees must be paid by 4:30 p.m. on June 30.
