The Mount Pearl Soccer Association is marking its 50th anniversary with a 5 kilometre fun run this weekend.
The run starts 9:00 a.m. Sunday at Mount Pearl Intermediate.
Some other activities held by the MPSA are meant to upkeep maintenance on the soccer fields. On Monday, the MPSA put a fresh layer of paint on the gate to the Smallwood middle field.
The MPSA boys team recently took the victory in the 50th anniversary kickoff tournament, in which the team won in penalty shots.
