The contributions of Dr. Susan Knight as Chancellor of Memorial University have been acknowledged by Premier Andrew Furey.
Knight was appointed in 2012 as the university’s first female Chancellor. Knight is also the founder and Artistic Director Emerita of Shallaway Youth Choir and taught music education at the elementary, undergraduate and post-graduate levels for decades.
She is also an active researcher, clinician, speaker, author, consultant, and producer.
Knight will conclude her time as Chancellor at the end of July.
