Parks Canada is introducing people to the skills and knowledge needed to enjoy time camping in the great outdoors.
Parks Canada’s Learn-to Camp program is being offered at the Port aux Choix National Historic Site and Gros Morne National Park in collaboration with Mountain Equipment Company.
Overnight Learn-to Camp events are scheduled at Port aux Choix from August 6 to 7 and at Gros Morne from August 13 to 14.
Camping gear is provided, all participants need is their own sleeping bag.
