Backhoe bandits have struck again, this time targeting a pharmacy in Pasadena.
The machine was used to extract an ATM from the Medicine Shoppe on Main Street late Monday night.
The culprits left a path of destruction in their wake, with the backhoe spotted bouncing away from the scene.
Officers from Deer Lake and Corner Brook responded and found the machine abandoned near Pasadena Industrial Park, from where it had been stolen.
Police say the ATM was recovered, adding the thieves never did get the money inside.
Anyone with tips on the incident is urged to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
