Leo Crockwell has been deemed mentally fit to face new criminal charges.
Crockwell is accused of assaulting two RCMP officers while resisting arrest Friday night in Witless Bay, and has been in custody since then.
His bail hearing was postponed again today, and is now scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
Crockwell is best known for giving the RCMP the slip following an 8-day armed standoff in 2010.
That happened at his house in Bay Bulls, paralyzing the town for almost a week.
