A GoFundMe has been started for a young child who lost his life at a swimming hole in Conception Bay South on Sunday.

6-year-old, Sam Porter, passed away while at a popular swimming hole in Seal Cove known as “The Still.”

Porter is being remembered for his love of sports, his infectious laughter, and his big personality.

Visitation is set for tomorrow at Hickey’s Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of life will take place Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the All Saints Church. The service will be live-streamed.

All proceeds from the GoFundMe will go towards funeral costs, with any additional money going to the school playground in Sam’s memory.
