ER services at the U.S. Memorial Hospital in St. Lawrence will be closed Friday form 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and through the weekend on Saturday, July 23 at 8:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 24 at 8:00 p.m.
Patients with a medical emergency who require an ambulance should call 911, while those with a serious or urgent medical problem should proceed to the Burin Peninsula Health Centre in Burin, or the clinic in Grand Bank.
Whitbourne ER Closure
Meanwhile, ER services at the Health Centre in Whitbourne will be closed all of next week from Monday, July 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday, August 1.
Obstetrical and surgical services at the hospital in Burin are closed until 4:00 p.m. Friday due to the temporary unavailability of anesthesiology services.
