Perchance Theatre is delaying its show scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

Due to extreme heat, The Tempest’s grand opening, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. will now take place at 6:00 p.m.

Perchance says on the stage, the temperature can be upwards of 35 degrees, making it unsafe for the actors in such a high-octane show.

Anyone who cannot make the new showtime will be issued tickets for a different day.
