St. John’s Pride is postponing Sunday’s Pride Parade and the Pride in the Park event due to the extreme heat conditions.

With temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees with the humidex, the committee says it is not safe for outdoor events to go ahead.

St. John’s Pride will be working with the city to reschedule the events to a later date.
