The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has confirmed a breach of system accounts.
The NLESD says about two dozen accounts were hacked on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
Access to those accounts has been suspended.
However, the school board says some “user-stored personal information” may have been compromised.
So far, it appears no student or district applications have been impacted.
The NLESD says they’ve been contacting account owners affected by the hack, and will provide more information as its investigation continues.
