The circus is coming to town. The St. John’s International Circus Festival is returning to the capital city for the fifth year this coming September.

The event, taking place from September 21-25, features numerous events throughout the city including panels, workshops, shows at the Arts and Culture Centre, and even a “gala-style” event at The Rooms.

Beni Malone, Artistic Director at Wonderbolt Circus, who is presenting the festival, says they get “amazing” reactions from audience members.

“These shows are “world-class,” says Malone, who notes the festival could be a cultural highlight for any city in the world with the performers they bring in.
