Emergency services at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre will be temporarily closed Tuesday due to human resources challenges.
The closure begins at 8 a.m. and will be in effect for 24 hours up to 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Outpatient services such as laboratory services, x-ray services, and some ambulatory treatments will be available. However, chemotherapy and dialysis will not be available, and will instead be provided in Clarenville.
Patients with a medical emergency should call 911 or go to the emergency department at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville.
