COVID-19 vaccination clinics for the final group to be protected are now available throughout the Eastern Health region.
Children 6 months to 5 years will receive the Moderna Spikevax which has been authorized by Health Canada.
Appointments can be booked through the Get The Shot website, or by calling 1-833-951-3904 toll-free. When booking, select the “6 months to under 5 years – pediatric Covid-19 Immunization Appointment” before proceeding to the actual booking.
The public should check availability as it varies across the region. This week, Eastern Health will be opening a second vaccine clinic in the metro region at Mount Pearl Square on Topsail Road.
Shots must be given 14 days before or after the date of receiving another vaccine.
