A local organization that has been helping Ukrainian refugees get settled has launched an employment program to help newcomers find work.

The new program, offered by Work Global Canada, will provide facilitation and support to Ukrainians, as well as match them with potential employers.

The program itself has actually created positions for three newcomers.

The company says two people from Ukraine and one person from Armenia, whose partner is from Ukraine, have been brought on board to help coordinate the program.

Ukrainians wishing to participate are asked to view the shortlist of job listings online and complete an expression of interest form. Employers wishing to participate are asked to complete an employer submission form.
