Memorial University’s nursing degree program is getting national recognition.
The program has earned a full seven-year accreditation from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.
It’s the fourth consecutive time that MUN’s nursing program has earned top marks from the association.
The CASN touted significant progress in the program since 2015, including the implementation of a concept-based curriculum that focuses on experiential learning, indigenization of the curriculum, and embedding a strengths-based health care and nursing philosophy.
