The local Green Team in Conception Bay South has partnered with the town and the CBS Parks Commission for a number of conservation projects.

The three groups will be working together to conduct research on non-indigenous aquatic life, as well as work together to preserve green spaces throughout CBS.

So far, the team has spent the summer working on town beautification and doing maintenance in areas such as Manuels River and Chamberlains Park.

Their hope is to preserve the nature of the area and promote the green spaces in the town.
