A charity golf tournament is planned for next month in memory of producer Paul Pope who passed away earlier this year.

The television production, Hudson & Rex is hosting the 1st Annual Paul Pope Memorial Golf Tournament at Admiral’s Green in Pippy Park on Friday, September 16.

All proceeds from the charity event will go to support the Paul Pope Legacy Fund to help advance the causes and interests Pope advocated for during his life, particularly in the fields of film, television, theatre and the arts community.

Pope, a prolific producer and giant in the local film and television industry, passed away following a brief illness back in April.
