Holy Cross extended their season-long unbeaten streak Sunday to capture the Breen’s Jubilee Trophy Championship for the seventh year in a row with a 1-0 win over Feildians All-Star Rebar.
Jane Pope scored the lone marker 10 minutes into the game.
Stacey Hanlon of Feildians received the Ann Woodford Award for the most effective and most sportsmanlike player while Pope was presented with the Sherry Morrissey Award as the most valuable player of the tournament.
Holy Cross will represent the province at the Toyota National Championships in Vaughan, Ontario October 5th to the 10th.
The CBS Strikers prevailed in the shootout on Saturday to claim third place.
