RNC in Corner Brook are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after an increase in the number of vehicle break-ins.

Multiple thefts from vehicles were reported in Massey Drive over the Labour Day weekend, with a majority of the vehicles being unlocked at the time.

Police are asking residents to lock their vehicles, especially overnight.

They’re also asking people not to leave any valuables in their vehicles and to park in well-lit areas where surveillance is in use.

Any suspicious activity should be reported to the authorities.
