Two students at Memorial University have been awarded scholarships in the STEM field.
Samantha Morgan, an engineering student from Colliers, received a $100,000 scholarship and Jason Matthews, a Bachelor of Science student, was award a scholarship valued at $80,000.
The scholarships are funded by the Schulich Foundation, an organization that provides funds to 100 students across Canada who are entering the science, technology, engineering and math sectors.
