A registration call line set up by the Canadian Red Cross for those in Port aux Basques displaced by the storm has reached capacity.
The Canadian Red Cross has now established a separate call line for registration which is now active.
That number is 1-800-863-6582.
Those who were not contacted last night are encouraged to call the new line today.
The Salvation Army is coordinating shelter at St. James Regional High, while those with pets are being accommodated at the Bruce II Sports Arena.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced during a news conference yesterday that the federal government will be matching donations to the red cross to help with Fiona recovery.
Trudeau says he knows people want to help with the recovery, as such they will be matching donations from Canadians and corporations to the Red Cross over the next 30 days.
