The RCMP-RNC Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Team has arrested and charged a 41-year-old man with online child exploitation.
Police say the investigation, launched in 2021, led to a search warrant on a St. John’s home last October.
A number of electronic devices were seized at that time and sent for analysis.
Matthew Kerr was arrested yesterday and charged with accessing child pornography, two counts of transmission of child pornography, and breaches.
He’s been released on strict conditions to appear in court at a later date.
