The Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance is holding its annual conference in St. John’s this weekend to mark the beginning of ADHD Awareness Month.
The two-day event hopes to provide resources and education on the neurodevelopmental disorder that affects millions of children and adults across Canada.
A number of events will be taking place throughout the weekend, including workshops and discussion panels.
The event hopes to provide healthcare professionals with up-to-date information regarding ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for both children and adults.
Health Minister Tom Osbourne will be speaking at the event which gets underway this morning at 9:00 a.m. at the Delta Hotel.
