Inside municipal workers in St. John’s represented by CUPE have reached a tentative agreement with the city.
CUPE 1289 President Erin Woodfine calls it a good round of bargaining and says the city listened and addressed their concerns “in detail.”
The contents of the contract will not be released publicly until the ratification process is complete. The union is recommending acceptance.
The tentative deal will be presented to the union’s 380 members for ratification next Tuesday, October 11.
The outside workers reached an agreement last summer.
