Memorial University is getting set for its fall convocation.
This year, approximately 1,000 degrees will be awarded along with a number of honourary degrees.
Among those being recognized is Dr. Elizabeth Epperly, the first female president of the University of PEI.
The co-founders of Verafin—Brendan Brothers, Jamie King, and Raymond Pretty—are also being honoured by MUN.
The ceremony is taking place at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre on October 20.
