The RCMP has released more information related to the disappearance of a 30-year-old Stephenville man, missing since Friday, September 30.

Tyler Hennessey was reported missing on Saturday, and a search was initiated with the help of Stephenville Search and Rescue. Hennessey’s vehicle, a 2005 four-door gold-coloured Chevy Cavalier, was found parked on a gravel road near Marches Point, but the extensive ground and air searches conducted on Sunday failed to turn up any sign of the young man.

Police are now asking the public to check any possible surveillance images captured between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning of last week in the communities of Felix Cove, Campbells Creek, Abrahams Cove, Ship Cove, Lower Cove, Sheaves Cove, Marches Point, Red Brook and De Grau.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tyler Hennessey or who may have surveillance footage of him or his vehicle, is asked to contact Bay St. George RCMP at 643-2118 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
