A musical based around one of Canada’s favourite sports is showing in St. John’s this week.
“Second Shot: The Curling Musical” by Best Kind Productions will be hitting the stage at the Arts and Culture Centre.
The show, written and composed by Timothy Matson & Kiersten Noel, covers a local curling club’s annual and unusual mixed teams tournament, where they are chosen at random.
The musical features local talent and a homegrown script where the audience chooses the winner at the end.
The show runs Thursday to Saturday. Tickets can be purchased on the Arts and Culture Centre website.
