The controlled water release at the Jacopie Spillway has ended.

The Churchill Falls Generating Station says that while the release has ended, the public are still asked to avoid the Jacopie and Watefish Spillways, the Churchill River bed downstream of the Jacopie Spillway, and the East and West Forebay water storage areas north of Churchill Falls.

This is due to these areas having water levels that may continue to fluctuate.
