Canada Post is offering free mail-forwarding services to those displaced by Hurricane Fiona.
For up to 12 months, residents of Channel-Port aux Basques with the first three postal code characters A0N and A0M can request free service by November 6.
Anyone looking to avail of this can go to a post office with government-issued ID—proof of authorization is required for anyone requesting the service on behalf of someone else—or visit canadapost.ca/mailforwarding to register and purchase online with a credit card. The service will be refunded within 20 business days.
