ArtsNL has announced the winners of their 2020 and 2021 awards after being postponed due to COVID-19.
There were over a dozen recipients from the past two years including the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra who took home the 2021 Artist Achievement Award.
Actress, writer and director Natalia Henelly earned the Rhonda Payne Award which comes with a $500 dollar prize to assist a woman in the arts who is struggling to meet their goals in the industry.
Also taking home a prize of $500 dollars is actor, writer, and director Ruth Lawrence who received the Ross Leslie Award, recognizing her for her excellence and passion for the arts industry.
