High-speed internet is coming to some 650 households in Labrador West.
$230,000 dollars in joint federal and provincial funding has been announced for the Community Recreation Rebroadcasting Service Association which provides internet services in the region, to expand service to another 664 households.
The project is expected to be completed by May 2023.
It’s part of a $136 million announcement made earlier this year to bring rural, remote and Indigenous communities high-speed internet services.
