A beloved voice that had been gracing the airwaves for more than 60 years has been silenced.
Henry Pike, a long-time volunteer with VOWR, passed away on Thursday at the age of 93.
VOWR says Pike gave faithful listeners a reassuring voice for decades and leaves an immeasurable legacy that will be missed by the entire VOWR family.
He leaves to mourn his children, grandchildren and a large listening audience.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home with a celebration of Pike’s life to take place at Wesley United Church on Monday at 11 a.m.
