Corner Brook is hosting a Rural Design Conference next week, bringing together a variety of creative and innovative thinkers to reimagine how design can help improve life in rural or isolated areas.
Raisa Mirza, the founder and principal of WabiSabiJetty in St. Mary’s Bay, says design can be used to address a myriad of issues to help streamline the services people access every day.
The Rural Design Conference is being hosted by the Centre for Research and Innovation — a collaborative project with Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus — on Monday and Tuesday.
