Health Minister Tom Osborne says an “in-depth” and “comprehensive” review of the province’s long-term and personal care homes will be carried out.
Senior’s Advocate Susan Walsh has reiterated the call for a significant review—a recommendation originally made in a 2019 report by the previous senior’s advocate.
Osborne says government will review the province’s long-term and personal care homes. He was responding to questions from Opposition House Leader, Barry Petten.
Osborne says the review was delayed by the shift to COVID response during the pandemic. He offered the assurance that a comprehensive and in-depth review “will take place.”
