Mark’s Mount Pearl Blades are going to host the Atlantic Junior Hockey Championship next season.
Better known as the Don Johnson Cup, the tournament takes place April 23-28 in 2024 at the Glacier. As the host, Mount Pearl the city will have a team as will the St. John’s Junior Hockey League and leagues in PEI, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.
Newfoundland and Labrador last won the event in 2009 in Bay Roberts and last hosted it in 2016 in Conception Bay South.
